Six strangers. One plan. No app required.
Regulars plans small-group events for CSUF students and matches you with five people worth meeting. We find the people and make the plan. You just show up.

Regulars
Admit One
- Group size 5 to 6
- CSUF students with a .edu email
- Evenings and weekends
- No events during finals or dead week
Meeting strangers sounds awkward, and is it safe?
Everyone signs up solo, so nobody is the odd one out.
Every member uses a school .edu email that we confirm before matching, groups are only 5 to 6 people, and event details go to your group a couple of days ahead.
We don't run background checks, so use the same judgment you'd use meeting anyone new.
I see the same people in class every week but never actually meet anyone.
I want friends outside my major, but I don't know where to start and nobody ever makes the plan.
Regulars handles the two hard parts of meeting people: finding them and making the plan.
We match you into a group of 5 to 6 students based on your interests and schedule, then plan the event, such as a dinner, a coffee run, a game night, or a hike.
How it works
Join the list with your .edu email and tell us what you're into.
Get matched with a group of 5 to 6, and we plan the event.
Show up. You get the what, where, when, and who a couple of days before.
What you get
- Meet five new CSUF students at every event, without the awkward part.
- Never plan anything: we pick the event, the place, and the time.
- Something different every time: dinners, coffee, game nights, hikes.
- It fits your semester: evenings and weekends, and nothing during finals.
Fair questions
What kinds of events?
Dinners, coffee runs, game nights, hikes, beach days, and whatever the group is into. We pick based on everyone's answers, so it changes every time.
What if I don't click with my group?
Not every group will be a perfect fit, and that's fine. You'll be matched with a new group for the next event.
Is this actually safe?
Every member signs up with a school .edu email, and we confirm it before matching. Event details go to your group a couple of days ahead, never before.
Beyond that, use the same judgment you'd use meeting anyone new.
I don't know anyone at CSUF yet. Is this for me?
That's exactly who this is for. Everyone signs up solo.
How much does it cost?
Regulars is a monthly subscription. Joining the list is free and doesn't commit you to anything. We'll share membership details before you sign up for anything.
The fine print
If a group doesn't fill, we run any event with 4 or more people; below 4 it's rescheduled and you get first pick next time.
Regulars plans events and makes introductions only and does not run background checks on members.
A note from the founder
I'm Hershey, a third-year computer science student at Cal State Fullerton.
I started Regulars to make it easier for students to build real connections in person.
