Regulars is a recurring dinner for CSUF students who want to meet new people the old way — across a table, not a feed. Every signup is verified with a .edu email, so it's classmates, not randoms off the internet. Matched by hand into tables of 5–6, timed around your class schedule, not a fixed calendar.

Your .edu email confirms you're a student. Then a few questions about you, what you're hoping to get out of it, and your availability.
Get matched by hand
No algorithm — we personally build each table of 5–6 based on your answers, aiming for a group that'll actually click.
Show up and eat
One dinner, one table, real conversation. You'll hear your table assignment and location a couple days before.
Every dinner is a fresh match — we don't route you away from people you've already met. If a familiar face turns up at another table, that's the name doing its job.
Before you sign up
What if I don't click with my table?
Not every dinner will be a perfect match, and that's fine — sign up again for the next round with a new group. Regulars runs every other week, so there's always another table.
Is this actually safe?
Every signup is verified with a .edu email, so it's students only — not the open internet. Location details go out to your matched table a couple days ahead, never before. Beyond that, use the same judgment you'd use meeting anyone new.
How are tables actually put together?
By hand — no algorithm. We read every form response and build each group around shared goals and interests, aiming for a mix that'll actually get along.
I don't know anyone at CSUF yet — is this still for me?
That's exactly who this is for. Everyone signs up solo; you're not the only one at the table who came in not knowing anyone.
Can I back out after I'm matched?
Once you're matched, your seat is non-refundable — that's what holds your spot at the restaurant. If you're not matched to a table, you're refunded automatically.
If your table doesn't fill this round: we run any table of 4 or more — smaller tables just mean more time with everyone. Below 4, the round is cancelled and everyone who signed up is refunded and given first pick next time.
Cancellation policy: once you're matched to a table, your seat is non-refundable — that's what pays for your spot at the restaurant. If you're not matched to a table, you're refunded in full.
Regulars facilitates introductions only and does not run background checks on attendees. Everyone who attends does so voluntarily and at their own discretion.
